The red wine Brunello di Montalcino Riserva DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Paradiso di Cacuci has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby red. Lots of malt and milk chocolate on the nose, oak, a hint of sealing wax, then rich cherry fruit and dark pepper savouriness. Opens up on the palate with drive and tightly woven tannins, a pithy touch, then beautiful saltiness on the finish with minimal tannin.
