The red wine Potenti IGT, vintage 2007 from the winery Petra has been rated in 2011 with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Dark, impenetrable ruby violet. Very dense nose, opens with notes of tobacco, dark currants, some dried mushrooms. Full-bodied and hearty on the palate, shows a lot of gripping, present tannin, builds up nicely, long finish with a hint of chocolate.
More about the tastingSparkling, rich ruby with violet shimmer. Initially opens with slightly smoky notes on the nose, then lots of dark berry fruit, beautiful playfulness. Very juicy on the palate, unfolds with grippy, dense tannins, describes a wide arc, full-bodied pressure on the finish.
