Bright ruby with a dark, luminous core. Aroma of ripe black cherries, delicate peppery savouriness, sloes and a hint of clove. Juicy on the palate, inviting with good tension, pleasantly stretched, full but round in body, quite balanced, finishes on rich dark chocolate, well done.
