The red wine Petra IGT, vintage 2008 from the winery Petra has been rated in 2012 with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby colour, purple reflections. Lots of vivid dark berry fruit, of cassis and blueberry, underlaid with a lovely spiciness. Rich and juicy on the palate, showing plenty of dense fine-grained tannins, interwoven and polished, building steadily and unfolding beautifully. It has a wonderful combination of fruit and spice, and power on the finish.

Rich and juicy on the palate, shows plenty of dense, fine-grained tannins, interwoven and polished, builds continuously, spans a very wide arc, great combination of fruit and spices in the finish.
