The red wine Petra IGT, vintage 2012 from the winery Petra has been rated in 2015 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Brilliant, intense ruby with violet shimmer. Appealing, intense nose with notes of dried kitchen herbs, lots of blackberry, beautiful play. On the palate it seems a little closed in, pithy tannins, salty, fine fruit, but quite hard and angular on the finish.
