The red wine Boggina IGT, vintage 2010 from the winery Petrolo has been rated in 2013 with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Sparkling ruby with violet shimmer. Opens on the nose with smoky, mineral notes, followed by lots of ripe cherry and blackberry, clear and penetrating. Juicy on the attack and on the palate, shows lots of fruit, raspberry, opens with fine-meshed tannins coated with sweet enamel, builds well on the finish, full-bodied pressure on the finish.
