The red wine Torrione IGT, vintage 2014 from the winery Petrolo has been rated in 2017 by Othmar Kiem with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby. Open and accessible nose with lots of berry notes, blackberry and raspberry, some cloves in the background. Polished, fine-meshed tannins in the attack, fine fruit, opens with good pressure, then a little less pressure on the finish.
