The red wine St. Magdalener classico DOC, vintage 2015 from the winery Pfannenstielhof has been rated in 2016 by Othmar Kiem with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Vernatsch, Lagrein from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Sparkling ruby with a light rim. Very intense, clearly defined nose, with notes of fresh, juicy cherry and pomegranate, followed by fine violet tones, balanced. Round and supple on the palate, with a rich, juicy fruit, opens up with fine tannins, fine melting, long finish.
