The red wine Archineri Etna Rosso DOC, vintage 2014 from the winery Pietradolce has been rated in 2016 by Othmar Kiem with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nerello Mascalese from the region Sicily in Italy.
Brilliant, bright garnet red. Finely marked nose, aromas of raspberry and strawberry, some cinchona bark, very vivid bouquet. It opens up nicely on the palate, unfolding with lots of clear fruit, fine texture, then displays finely-meshed vivid tannins, multi-layered, juicy and long.
