The red wine Amarone della Valpolicella Zovo, vintage 2012 from the winery Pietro Zanoni has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone Veronese, Rondinella from the region Veneto in Italy.
Intense, rich ruby red. Fruity nose of fresh cherry and plum, with a slight aftertaste of blood. Carried by a beautiful mellowness and spreading comfortably on the palate, lies gently over the tongue, fruity centre with compact savouriness, becomes slightly loosely knit and harsh on the finish.
