The red wine Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG, vintage 2013 from the winery Pietro Zanoni has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone Veronese, Rondinella , Oseleta from the region Veneto in Italy.
Brilliant, rich ruby with fine garnet rim. Intense nose with notes of ripe black cherry, cinnamon and black truffle. Juicy and balanced in approach and course, also has power, but well integrated, ripe raspberry notes, fine-meshed tannin.
