The Red Wine Sugarille Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Pieve di S. Restituta has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Toscana in Italy.
Brilliant, rich ruby with garnet rim. Exciting and complex nose with notes of dark wild raspberries, plum, plus some blood orange and cardamom. Very compact and grippy on the palate, shows hearty tannin, a lot of drive, plus ripe, dark fruit, can still store for a long time.
