The red wine Barbaresco DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Pio Cesare has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Tasting Notes
Bright, vivid ruby red with a shimmering core. Aromas of fresh cherries and forest fruits, delicate savoury notes with hints of light leather. A very supple and polished palate, concentrated, compact fruit, salty notes and ripe tannins on the finish.
