The red wine Símbolo, vintage 2016 from the winery Poças has been rated in 2019 by Peter Moser with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tempranillo, Tinta Barocca from the region Douro in Portugal.
Deep dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, subtle bright rim. Attractive cherry fruit, delicate liquorice, nice oak support, an inviting bouquet with fresh orange zest. Taut, tight-knit, it has very good freshness, firm, well-integrated tannins, energetic and good length. With a mineral note it is built for a long future.
