The red wine Guardiavigna Toscana IGT, vintage 2015 from the winery Podere Forte has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, fleshy ruby-purple. Opens with emphatic savoury notes of black pepper and underbrush, followed by lots of blackberry and blueberry. Creamy and dense on the palate, spreading out with lots of rich fruit, fine-meshed, very well-integrated tannin and vigorous drive on the finish.
