Tasting from 21.11.2019: Othmar Kierm, Simon Staffler

Intense, bright ruby red with delicately brightening rim. Aromas of lovage, tar, morello cherries, ripe black currants, mulberries and mint. A slightly gruff primary palate with grippy tannins, but opens up well, spicy-balsamic notes and ripe dark fruit. Needs time, best to decant before drinking.
