The white wine Reyneke Biodynamic Sauvignon Blanc, vintage 2021 from the winery Reyneke Wines has been rated in 2022 by Anne Krebiehl MW with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc from the region Stellenbosch in South Africa.
A most subtle nose promises guava and passion fruit with lovely hints of oak moss. Fermented in aged barrel and matured on gross lees, this has a gorgeous texture that seems to make the ripe fruit on the mid-palate in to a glossy, smooth, ripe, pristine texture. There is nothing up-front about this, this is all about depth. What a lovely, structured, exquisite wine.
