The red wine Riecine IGT, vintage 2013 from the winery Riecine has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Brilliant, appealing garnet red. Inviting and open nose, presents a colourful savouriness with notes of cardamom and coriander seeds; behind it lots of ripe raspberry, blackberry and dried cherries. Clear and straightforward on the palate, light-footed, lively with ripe fruit, lots of raspberry, opens with finely meshed tannin, develops nicely towards notes of sweet tobacco on the finish.
