Brilliant, lively ruby red. Initial notes of candle wax on the nose, then ripe cherries and wild berries, distantly reminiscent of ripe watermelon, dark spices, some sealing wax and leather. The palate is compact and tight-knit, polished over the tongue, very juicy and deep, clear fruit on the finish.
