The red wine Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG, vintage 2021 from the winery Riecine has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Elegant, vibrant dark ruby in colour with purple nuances. Deep and spicy on the nose, with aromas of juicy black cherry, blackberry, clove, marzipan and tobacco leaf. The palate has a velvety texture, with tightly knit tannins, and ripe, rich fruit, harmonious and very persistent.
