Tasting Notes
Ethereal attack with finely chiselled aromas of red and black forest berries. Resinous notes, reduced meadow herbs, graphite. Still quite closed on the palate with initial ripe sweetness. Taut acid structure and distinguished tannins. Great elegance and complexity. Great wine, sure certain ageing potential.
More about the tastingSparkling ruby with a slight garnet sheen. Very clear and inviting nose, full of ripe blackberries, raspberries and some plums, flint in the background. Taut on the palate, opens with pithy, dense tannins, builds beautifully, hearty, beautiful cherry fruit on the finish.
