Bright ruby red colour. Chocolate, liquorice and blackcurrant on the nose, backed with fine woody notes. Very taut on the palate, plenty of fine-grained tannins. Powerful body, slightly roasted flavours with ripe berry fruit, some dark chocolate. Good length.
