Tasting Notes
The long-awaited successor to the legendary 2008. Light amber in colour, with orange reflections. Nuances reminiscent of Traminer on the nose, which is immensely complex - a touch of apricot and eucalyptus, some bacon and a smoky herbal savouriness. Light on the palate and freshly structured, with a pleasant acidity supporting subtle greengage and yellow plum fruit and leading to a lemony-salty finish. Quite simply wonderfully easy to drink, and certainly with further ageing potential - it's hard to believe that this wine is already five years old.
