The red wine Teran Re, vintage 2008 from the winery Roxanich Winery & Restaurant has been rated in 2016 by Peter Moser with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Refosco from the region Istra - Istria in Croatia.
Medium carmine-garnet color, ochre reflections, broad rim brightening. Smoky herbal spice with a hint of gunpowder, hints of baby carrots, lentils, red peppers. Medium complexity, present acid structure, somewhat drying tannins, remains rather short on the finish, flint touch and delicate sweetness in the aftertaste.
