The red wine Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG, vintage 2012 from the winery Rubinelli Vajol has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone Veronese, Rondinella , Molinara, Oseleta from the region Veneto in Italy.
Clear, bright ruby red in colour. Fresh nose of raspberry and ripe wild strawberry, and echoes of orange zest - very fine. Well-balanced and enormously juicy on the palate, it impresses with freshness despite being 16%. Perky from start to long crescendo, showing beautiful saltiness and magnificent balance on the finish.
