The red wine Destinée Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva DOCG, vintage 2010 from the winery Rubinelli Vajol has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone Veronese, Rondinella , Molinara, Oseleta from the region Veneto in Italy.
Rich, shiny ruby garnet colour, concentrated. Very clear and intense nose of fresh, tree-ripened plums, as well as cassis, blood oranges, elderflower, wild raspberry, backed by fine savoury nuances. Deep and textured initially and when developing, lots of finely meshed tannins, clear fruit, very long juicy aftertaste - the wine has obviously benefited from a year of bottle ageing.
