The red wine Piaggione Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2017 from the winery Salicutti has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Clear ruby with a fine garnet shimmer. A very distinctive nose with pronounced notes of fresh cherries and raspberries. Lots of juicy fruit on the palate, along with polished tannins and a fine, sweet texture. Amazingly fresh for this vintage!
