The red wine Sorgente Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2017 from the winery Salicutti has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
It has a vivid bright ruby colour. On the nose it opens with notes of cherry compote, some leather, and fine herbal savouriness in the background. There are finely woven tannins on the palate, with lovely juicy cherry fruit, although it is quite harsh on the finish.
