Brilliant rich ruby colour, with a light garnet rim. Initially showing slightly smoky mineral notes on the nose, then lots of ripe plum and blackberry. A poem on the palate, lots of ripe fruit on the attack, opening up with dense full-bodied tannins, coated with lots of sweet texture, a firm finish, long and hearty.
