The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2013 from the winery Salvioni - La Cerbaiola has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Brilliant, intense ruby garnet with a slightly brightening rim. Initially shows itself somewhat closed, notes of plum, goji berries and raspberry, and in the background spicy coriander seeds. Blooms richly on the palate, dense tannin in many layers characterise the wine, plus fine fruit, very long with firm drive on the finish.
