The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery San Fabiano Calcinaia has been rated in 2017 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, deep dark ruby with a violet core. Opens with notes of cardamom, resin and leather, followed by ripe blackberry notes. Full-bodied and dense on the palate, dark berry fruit, powerful tannins, a very full-bodied, powerful Chianti Classico.
