The red wine Cerviolo Toscana Rosso IGT, vintage 2019 from the winery San Fabiano Calcinaia has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot
Brilliant dark ruby red in colour. On the nose, aromas of blackberry cordial and raspberry confit, supported by notes of blood and liver, with leather on the finish. The palate is loosely woven with plenty of tannins, also juicy with subtle balsamic tones, with full-bodied, drying tannins on the finish, but has clearly gained in quality!.
