Powerful, deep dark ruby with a slight purple shimmer. Rich nose with pronounced balsamic notes, mint and cedar, then rich dark berry fruit, earthy notes on the finish. Very polished on the palate, lots of fine-meshed, well-placed tannins, shows many layers, has firm drive.
