Rich, sparkling ruby; clear and intense nose with beautifully ripe notes of cherries, underlaid by fine cloves, a little ginger; velvety tannin on the palate, develops beautifully, with lots of ripe fruit, subtle notes of fine chocolate on the finish, persistent.
