The red wine Monsenese Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG, vintage 2020 from the winery San Leonino has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright, shiny ruby red colour with a brightening core. Fine aromas of ripe strawberries and cherries on the nose, with subtle hints of liquorice, cedar and roasted almonds. Great complexity on the palate, with a savoury finish, great drink, sweet, round fruit, multilayered, great drive in the aftertaste, salty!
