The franciacorta Franciacorta DOCG Dosaggio Zero, vintage 2016 from the winery Santus has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Nero from the region Franciacorta in Italy.
Bright straw yellow with a hint of rust and a persistent mousse. On the nose there are fine yeasty notes, some candied blood orange, sea salt, touches of white peach and a little toastiness. The palate is very juicy and balanced, crisp-feeling in the mouth, long and with a super clean finish.
