The red wine Rivarossa Rosso Venezia Giulia IGT, vintage 2016 from the winery Schiopetto has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy.
Inky purple. On the nose are ripe black currants, light smoke, with tobacco in the background. A pleasant bouquet. An elegant palate, expands widely with velvety and tightly woven tannin, spicy-vegetable, taut finish with lots of drive.
