The red wine »Réserve« Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Schmidt am Bodensee has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Württemberg in Germany.
The nose is still characterized by aromas of wood, herbs and cherry. Initially full-bodied on the palate with a fine savouriness and ripe, tactile acidity, lots of texture, good intensity, some fruit, a large amount of high-quality tannins and mineral tones. Great further ageing potential.
