Tasting Notes
Ripe, but not brittle light color, with very light mahogany reflections. Aroma: malt, redcurrant, also some undergrowth. Very clear, no cork-related or other disturbing noises. The fruit is very pure, with a naturally ripe but still completely vital Pinot character. The palate starts with a supple, even oily attack for a moment, unfolding a melted but still structured tannin, all underpinned by a very fine minerality and lively acidity. A wine at a fascinating intersection of elegance and maturity - a contemporary document that not only delights the intellect, but is still a pleasure to drink.
