The white wine Chardonnay Sélection, vintage 2022 from the winery Schwarzenbach Weinbau has been rated in 2024 by Dominik Vombach und Benjamin Herzog with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Lake Zurich in Switzerland.
On the nose there is a beautiful intensity, with aromas of candied lemon peel, ripe apple, a distinctive barrel spiciness, vanilla, and some smoke. It has a medium breadth on the palate, with a ripe acidity, and again lots of oak spiciness. It finishes juicy and with beautiful length.
