The red wine Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG, vintage 2019 from the winery Scriani has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone Veronese, Rondinella from the region Veneto in Italy.
Clear ruby red colour with dark core. Presents elegant on the nose, mulberries, cocoa, liquorice, as well as light balsamic. Very soft initially, fruity, warm and with fine wood savouriness, followed by grippy tannins, persistent.
