The sweet and dessert wine Maddalena Recioto della Valpolicella Classico DOCG, vintage 2020 from the winery Scriani has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone, Molinara, Rondinella from the region Veneto in Italy.
Medium glossy garnet red with a dark core. Intense aromas of pickled Amarena cherries, cinnamon, dried plums and hints of pomegranate on the nose. On the palate there's a good balance between sweetness and tannin, which is well integrated. A long, spiced finish rounds things off.
