The sekt Erbacher Honigberg extra brut, vintage 2016 from the winery Sektkellerei Bardong has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Very typical varietal nose, white flowers, some honey, also smoky notes, burnt sugar. On the palate it shows young apricot, white currant and cassis, incredibly juicy with animating crisp acidity, wonderfully integrated mousse, a good food companion.
