The red wine Rosso di Montalcino DOC, vintage 2020 from the winery Siro Pacenti has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby red with a delicately brightening rim. Fragrant and expressive on the nose - finely drawn, ripe strawberries, mint and some eucalyptus, with elegant use of wood. Radiant on the juicy palate, showing pithy, salty tannins that are tightly woven into the fabric. It spans a wide arc, feeling stony and dry, with good ageing potential.
