The red wine Vigna Valmaggiore Nebbiolo d'Alba DOC, vintage 2017 from the winery Sordo Giovanni has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Elegant, bright ruby red with a flint core. Very savoury on the nose, slightly resinous, somewhat subdued. On the palate it shows with dense, tightly woven tannins, good freshness, has a delicate fruit texture, but opens only hesitantly, has a drying effect on the finish.
