Tasting Notes

Tasting from 26.11.2019: Ulrich Sautter und Rainer Schäfer

Strong use of wood, roasted, smoky aromas. Substantial, creamy structure, very round and plump, ripe acidity, with a distinctive woody aroma, which, however, does not stand alone, but is accompanied by sweet, fully ripe Burgundy type fruit. Warming on the finish, but also with juiciness and full-bodied reserves for further ageing.
