Nutty new oak, flinty, slightly yeasty, underlying mineral notes, herbs, aniseed rolls. Lots of texture and vivid fruit on the palate, ripe acidity support, the strong (but integrated) alcohol gives resonance to nice berry fruit. It has excellent length.
