The red wine »Tamino«, vintage 2022 from the winery Staatsweingut Freiburg has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 90+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Cortis, Monarch, Prior from the region Baden in Germany.
The red in the environmentally friendly reusable beer bottle is initially a little muted on the nose with patinated morello cherry countered in glaze. On the palate, the cherry note is convincing, slightly ethereal with juniper and peony. Tannins are vivid to a high degree by German wine standards, lining the palate and demanding appropriate accompaniment.
