Tasting Notes
This has aromas of marigold, chamomile, and some balsamic notes. On the palate it is full-bodied, high-quality, with fresh fine-grained tannins, underpinned with a ripe acidity. It is rich, although neither too plump nor too sinewy, the variety is still recognizable, but presented experimentally (with mash fermentation?). It has a juicy and tense finish.
More about the tastingCloudy with greenish reflections. Yeasty and subtly herbal-spicy notes, some wormwood, herbal bitterness. Dry phenols on a viscous base, mild acidity, compactly concentrated with still little aromatic development. The tannin structure seems very ambitious.
