Tasting Notes
Toastiness - of some new oak - is the immediate expression on the nose, but that is swiftly followed by the aromatic notion of Amarena cherry - both its richness and its tanginess. More air reveals overtones of liquorice. The palate presents the same profile of dark, aromatic cherry but counters it with lovely freshness. The tannins are silky and mellow, the finish is equally smooth but wonderfully aromatic and fresh.
